Vanessa trained at Laine Theatre Arts and worked extensively as an actor in West End shows, TV and film before following her love for writing and becoming an author. Her first novel was inspired by her experiences of overcoming stage fright, and she now has two books published by Pan Macmillan with a third in development.
Vanessa’s career, first in the entertainment industry and then in publishing has led her to a deep understanding of the value of being a good communicator, and her passion for helping people to grow in confidence and find their voice is the driving force of The Confidence Space. She thrives on personal development and is always looking to learn new skills
Howard trained at Doreen Bird College of Performing Arts and spent over ten years as a performer in West End theatre. After a successful career on the stage, he focussed on becoming an educator and coach. Working with top colleges, specialist schools and businesses, Howard has found unique and effective ways to reach and motivate teams and individuals. By listening, adapting and learning, he finds a way to reach the breakthrough moment with each client, helping them achieve their goals, however large.
At The Confidence Space we aim to empower. Every person has the right to be heard, and they should feel comfortable doing so. We are here to ensure that people feel they have presented the best version of themselves, and that they can get their ideas across effectively and with ease. We value people’s fears and perceived limitations and help them to overcome their hesitations.
We want to arm our clients with strategies, building habits and skills which will allow them to feel confident and relaxed when speaking in front of others. Every person should end our training happy, secure and confident, feeling that they now have tools they can take away and utilise immediately. The Confidence Space should flow into every part of a person’s day.
Come and find us in The Confidence Space.
